Ministry to unemployed Men

Losing a job is traumatic enough. But for men,who are the primary wage earners in their families, job loss can result in depression, loss of faith and even suicide.
To address the issue, United Methodist Men's groups
in the Atlanta area have joined with JobSeekers.
JobSeekers is a nonprofit organization founded in 1991
by businessmen concerned with the impact of corporate
downsizing. It's mission is to point men to a new or deeper
relationship with Christ while helping them find white-
collar jobs.
Jack Pilger, our former Pastor, is chaplain for the Atlanta area
JobSeekers group. United Methodist Men and JobSeekers
have placed more than 650 men in jobs since 1994.
You will find a link to JobSeekers web site on  the links page of this site.
Jack Pilger also works with the Sales and Marketing
job network group.
