Losing a job is traumatic enough. But for men,who are the primary wage earners in their families, job loss can result in depression, loss of faith and even suicide. |
| To address the issue, United Methodist Men's groups in the Atlanta area have joined with JobSeekers. JobSeekers is a nonprofit organization founded in 1991 by businessmen concerned with the impact of corporate downsizing. It's mission is to point men to a new or deeper relationship with Christ while helping them find white- collar jobs. |

| Jack Pilger, our former Pastor, is chaplain for the Atlanta area JobSeekers group. United Methodist Men and JobSeekers have placed more than 650 men in jobs since 1994. |
